How To Get Involved
|
|
Participants in the Renegade Garage Players can choose to get involved in one or all of our
four areas of concentration:
|
- Theater-
Help out with one or all of our five theatre productions
performed between March and August of each
year. The productions for
2007 are: Charlotte's Web: The Musical,
Summer and Smoke,
and
All In The Timing.
- Continuing Education-
Participate in our Weekend Workshops,
one or two day events in which people with
and without disabilities come together to
learn about a topic of common interest.
In 2007, the group will be
sponsoring workshops on Environmental
Awareness. The Renegade Garage
Players will also be joining in with
University of Cincinnati for
an Astronomy Class at the Cincinnati
Observatory, Cincinnati Zoo Barrows Lecture
Series, and other events.
-
Community Service-
Get involved in our service activities as people with and without disabilities come together to
help out Greater Cincinnati non-profit
groups. Upcoming activities involve
volunteering at Ohio River Sweep, and at
Good Works in Athens, Ohio.
- Fundraising-
The group relies heavily upon the good
will of volunteers who help us organize and
execute numerous fundraisers throughout the
year. We would welcome your help with
these fundraisers. Upcoming
fundraisers include Emerging Artists Fesival, a Crime Mystery, the
Couch Potato Walk, and a
Car Wash.
